Sunrise is pleased to introduce the new RubiX standard wheelchair. This chair is the ideal choice if you have multiple requirements that can be solved in one simple solution. Both come with the following adjustable parts as standard, meaning they can be easily modified: Armrest length and height, seat height, seat depth, seat angle, footplate angle, centre of gravity, backrest height and tension. The RubiX  design is built for a long life with an 'all aluminium' structure.

Aluminium Parts The Breezy® Rubix comprise of entirely aluminium components meaning that key parts such as the backrest will not wear or flex over time. Castor Angle No complex assemblies required. Our simple, yet durable, two bolt aluminium design can be easily adjusted and secured into place. Three Arm Cross Bar The additional cross bar arm leads to increased support and rigidity. Furthermore, the easy fold mechanism stays perfectly in line when unfolding and locks into place safely and securely.

The Breezy® RubiX has been designed to ensure the optimum comfort of any full time user. Offering: Adjustable seat depths from 41cm - 46cm, adjustable seat angles from 0° to 6°, adjustable seat height 42.cm to 50.5cm, tension adjustable backrest extendible from 41cm to 46cm, length and height adjustable armrests and three colour options of Silver, Blue or Red For larger, heavier users the Breezy® RubiX comes in an XL version. With three seat width options - 52cm, 56cm and 60cm, four seat depth options - 41cm, 43.5cm, 46cm and even 48.5cm, foot board and stabiliser bar for increased rigidity and support and all key parts are interchangeable with standard BasiX and RubiX products. The Breezy® RubiX can also be easily adapted to fit the needs of hemiplegic users offering: Height adjustable seat as standard from 42.5cm, extra-low height of 37.5cm achievable with the short castor fork option and 6" castors, up to 5cm rear wheel centre of gravity adjustment for increased manoeuvrability and also hemiplegic armrests, one-arm drive and unilateral brakes. The Breezy® RubiX can even be adapted to the needs of users with slightly more active lifestyles: The backrest can be lowered to 41cm for a more comfortable, fluid propelling motion, Angle adjustable seat from 0° to 6° for increased stability, up to 5cm rear wheel centre of gravity adjustment for increased manoeuvrability and Transport weight of less than 10kg. The Rubix has been crashed tested and fulfil the performance requirements for ISO 7176-19.
