The new AQUATEC ORCA bath lift is a superior quality, durable bath lifter that has been designed to offer comfort and safety to those who require support and reassurance whilst bathing. The ORCA’s design incorporates increased legroom, ease of disassembly and an ergonomic, buoyant hand control that contains the lightweight battery. The Standard AQUATEC ORCA has a weight limit of 135 kg (21 stone) and the Bariatric (Heavy Duty) version has a weight limit of 170kg (26.8 stone)
The emphasis on ergonomic design allows the ORCA to sit lower and further towards the back of the bathtub, thus allowing increased legroom for deeper and more relaxed bathing. Also, the increased height of the backrest provides full support whilst upright or reclined.
The compact hand control incorporates a lightweight battery which allows approximately 30 lifts per charge*. It can be easily disconnected to be charged discreetly and safely away from moisture. Raised profile, coloured buttons, with an emergency stop feature allows simple and controlled operation, to give re-assurance and independence. The hand control is supplied with a suction hook, to hold the control whilst not in use, however the hand control will float if dropped into the water.
The backrest has an automatic locking mechanism. When pushed forward the backrest unlocks automatically and folds down with ease. The ORCA'S backrest can then be lifted out of the bath with little effort . The large oyster cups release easily to allow the bottom section to be removed from the bath for cleaning. The 2 sections fit neatly into each other to give an extremely compact size for storage.
