The SmartDrive is a revolutionary new power assist device that will change your life. It is intuitive to use, just turn the dial to go. It will go for miles on a single charge. The NEW SmartDrive MX2 +  now with the  new Speed Control Dial makes the already award-winning wheelchair power assist even better. It can power you up steep hills and through thick carpet. It's intuitive to use and will go for miles on a single charge. Turn on, get out there and rediscover your independence!
 
Powerful
The SmartDrive is surprisingly powerful. You can cruise up the steepest ramps and sidewalks. Even a thick padded hotel carpet is no problem. The SmartDrive has an anti-rollback feature that allows you to stop on a hill and then easily get going again.
 
 
 
Easy to Install
The SmartDrive is lightweight and easy to install. The system weighs only 12.5 lbs (5.7 kg) and simply attaches on the back of the chair. It can be fit on essentially any make and type of wheelchair, including folding, tilt-in space, one-arm drive and standing.

The SmartDrive gives you freedom to do more. It moves with you and it’s so lightweight, you don’t even know it’s there. You can spin in place, be in a wheelie, or hop off curbs. It is compatible with your active lifestyle.

Got my MX2 from these guys just around a week ago. The after care service has been absolutely fantastic. I had a couple of small issues which were mainly due to my own lack of straight forwards thinking but the team at Active Mobility have never once left me hanging and waiting for them, I've rung them and they've been extremely quick at helping me out. Nigel, Phil and the ladies I have spoken to on the phone could not do enough to help me. Communication is superb, in fact from now on if I need anything for my disability (Paraplegic) equipment wise for the my home or parts for my wheelchair, I'm getting in touch with these guys for help first.

Dear Nigel and ALL at Active Mobility, We have NOT met, YET! I am SURE we will. I am writing primarily to inform you that the SmartDrive MX2+ arrived, ON TIME, in good order, and is perfect. I say primarily, but, in point of fact; I expect you know this and knew that you had DONE EVERYTHING to ensure it would. If I sound slightly surprised it is because Your Company (and a company is only as good as the people who work in it) has shown me that Customer’s DO COUNT, to some Company’s. Something, that sadly is too often forgotten in this country, today. So, having restored my faith in Customer Service, though it is a small enough reward, I SHALL come to Your Website, FIRST AND FOREMOST, for any future needs, I am sure there will be something I NEED to live as independently I can. I purchased this after much consideration and research. I was not disappointed. It has changed my life so much , and certainly makes life a lot easier for me. An engineer from Active Mobility Centre delivered and installed this onto my wheelchair, and showed me in full how to use it. Nothing was a problem for the company and I would certainly recommend them and this product .

I cannot stress how much the Smart drive has changed my life . I cannot self propel my wheelchair very far myself due to shoulder problems so always had to rely on other people if I wanted to go anywhere, this little device is so easy for me to just clip on my wheelchair and means I can now be a lot more independent and go to the shops or for a wheel along the sea front. It is easy to use even for a technophobe like myself and I had a full demonstration of this before I purchased it and everything was explained to me in detail but so I would understand it easily. I recommend the Smart Drive to anyone wanting their independence back !

Excellent piece of kit !! So easy to use and understand, its very robust yet lightweight to put on and off my wheelchair, and this has totally transformed my life and given me my independence back. I had so many questions on this product before I purchased it, and Nigel and the staff at Active Mobility were very patient and professional in answering all my questions , they put me at ease and gave me confidence that I was buying the right thing to suit me. I cannot stress enough how much the Smartdrive has changed my life. Well worth every penny !
