The chair seems extremely well made and designed. It is I think unique in the market. Expensive but it does what it sets out to do and does it extremely well. It collapses easily and is easy to move around. A carer can easily push on the handles when locked in position to assist manoeuvring. The rear wheels have some springs hidden in them which allow a carer to push down on the back and raise the front up by a cm or so. Just enough to ge the small front jockey wheels to clear a small shower lip - but only a max then of maybe 2cm in total. Tricky to do if self propelling I think. It really is designed for flat and smooth floors. There are also little locking buttons which engage on the hand wheels and seem quite effective. ActiveMobility were the only company in the UK which had any stock. So well done you. We have bought this to remove the stress of unknown toilet/ showers when on holiday or even on day trips (wife has MS with much reduced mobility). It is compact enough to go into a medium ish bag and go into the car or hold on a flight. Not yet sure if we can take it into the cabin on a plane in addition to the wheelchair though (or even if we need to) The removable commode padded seat (which it comes with) is unfortunately just a bit too deep to allow my wife's feet to comfortably reach the footrests when 'abluting'. Even though they are adjustable. However by omitting it the problem is removed and the base of the seat is comfortable enough. Also the padded seat does not fold up into the chair and has to be carried separately anyway. The optional full seat pad is useful as it makes it look less like a commode if used beyond just in the bathroom. However for whatever reason the seat does not clip on to frame like the commode cushion. It has tendency to slide a bit until the person is sitting on it when it then seems fine. An issue but not a major one The carry case is not in stock anywhere but may get one just for flights. Unfortunately that looks as if it is not designed to take the padded seat cushion or the commode pan which will have to go separately. So some minor issues but my wife is hugely relieved to have it as part of her kit and is not dreading unknown hotels etc quite as much as before

I was so looking forward to this device as I have arthritis in my thumbs, but have been disappointed so far and still have to ask my husband to open jars for me.

I have found this support very helpful for the arthritis that is in many of my toes. They give support to under the toes when it can hurt to walk every step so I am happy to recommend them. I have tried the gel type ones but I find these are much better.

Very pleased with this Aluminium Walking Stick Stool. I took it on a WW1 'Walking The Somme' guided holiday where we walked & then stopped frequently to learn about the location. It was comfortable to sit on & easy to get up from with my arthritic knees, by pushing on the metal handles. It was also easy & light to carry or use as a walking aid. I also liked the fact that there were 3 different heights to choose from & so I was able to buy the shorter 32". When I phoned Active Mobility to ask for more info before purchase, I was able to get the size of the seat & the weight as being under 1 kg.

Very easy to install even on my Spanish tiles just get tile drill bits use grease on stainless steel screws for ease, The belt is easy to adjust works for your bath.

Good product and outstanding service

I love my new crutches. I chose orange and love them. About to have knee replacement but above all I have peripheral neuropathy so my balance is bad but with these they make me feel safe. No negatives.

Fantastic item

The product is excellent quality and would recommend it. The only tiny issue, is that the height of the seat on it's lowest level is for my height about 2" to high. But that's no major issue. It took a little longer to arrive, because it was coming directly from the manufacturer. The customer service team were excellent in explaining the situation. I would certainly look to use this company again for any other mobility aids.

Bought for my mum who has swollen legs due to reduced mobility. The tights are great, easy to put on and apparently super comfortable.

Very well designed and robustly built. It may be a little more expensive than some alternatives, but I think it will be reliable long into the future. Very pleased with it, and happy to recommend.

Very comfortable and easy to use. Gives good support for a painful knee...

I had to change the way the cord was threaded for it to work and it was then fine on short thin socks. It doesn’t work on long socks and is very difficult with winter ( thick) socks. I have worked out a way of fitting thick socks but it is dependent on being able to open the appliance while it is on the floor by using the cord to open the entrance wide enough to get the foot in.

Great product, they are sturdy and comfortable to use. Would recommend to anyone who are unable to use standard crutches due to their condition.
